Are cheap removalists dodgy ? part 2

Another question you should ask your furniture removalist is “can I have the phone number of one of your happy clients from the last week to get a referral?”. I know this sounds like your pushing the parcel a bit but you generally dont need to follow through with the phone call. If the removalists you are speaking to are confident they will say thats fine but if they stutter or begin to question you back then you will probably start to get a bad feeling about them. Some real dodgy removalists at this point will start to think your the sort of client that they wont be able to treat badly with out trouble…and they may tell you not to worry about it.
