The worst item in the house to move....YOU WONT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!

When I was in trucks doing Adelaide removals myself I used to have many items that were less desirable to move but one always took the cake. Before I get to that I will share a story about a first class removalists I used to- work with called Shatz. If you read this Shatz, gday old timer. Shatz was a very experienced and long serving removalists here in Adelaide and there wasn't much he couldn't do when it came to furniture removals. But he always had an issue with oil heaters. He refused to touch them.....at first I thought he was joking but he wasn't. Even if I were to carry it out to the truck he would walk around it saying comments like "you can deal with that bloody thing". I am tipping that he burned his bare bum on one when he was a kid, ha ha Shatz.

Some Professional  Movers Dont like Webers

Moving along to my phobia, these items are light and seem like a simple thing to move but I have spent agonising hours cursing the inventors of the good old Australian WEBER. The issues are that they are always full of charcoal dust so you are guaranteed to get a small lung full, thats the entree, then when you try to pick it up you do your best to look like a professional furniture removalist but its impossible with a WEBER.  Two legs of the weber will fall out but one is guaranteed to stay rusted in, so then you have to try and carry out the weber trying to hold the other 2 legs in and then the lid of the weber will drop off and make a hell of a racket to draw more attention to your less than professional activity you are performing.

Once you get it to the truck then you have to wrap it with the lid on which is a feat in itself and  almost certainly getting grease on one of our otherwise clean furniture pads....And after all of this then comes the fun part, loading it into a spot where it can fit. But it is one of the most awkward shapes to fit, it wont sit steady on top of any other items but is too fragile to put anything on top of it.

Put simply the WEBER is the worst item to move period.....any good removalists reading this are probably laughing and nodding their heads agreeing with me. If not email me on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with a funny story or something you would like me to post (a worse item than the weber)  for other Adelaide removalists  to read . I will put your name to it.
