Locusts for breakfast!

Shortly after the floods of 2010, areas of Victoria and South Australia experienced a locust plague. One morning during this plague, one of our local furniture removalists teams rung our operations manager Darren whilst doing a job in the northern suburbs of Adelaide to let him know the truck was surrounded by locusts and asked what should they do. Smirking, Darren asked them if they have stopped for breakfast yet. A bit confused, the removalist said "no".

Darren told the removalist to wind down their windows down quickly. Confused, one of the removalists wound down his window only to have dozens of locusts fly in the cabin of the truck.

The removalist then shrieked and yelled into the phone, "now what?".

Laughing, Darren yelled back "Enjoy your breakfast fella's, Bear Grills would be proud!"

When we are out on the road, us Adelaide furniture removalists come across all sorts of unusual people and get in some very funny situations. One of the weirder furniture removals I attended myself involved a young lady that apparently had it in for Barbie Dolls. It didnt take long before we were impressed with her creativity, she was quite a unique young woman.
